Why become a partner and sponsor?
At Lyon events, we are convinced that the success of every event depends on close, meaningful working relationships.
In line with our CSR policy, which aims to promote the region and diversity, and in tune with our values and objectives, we support and work with our partners on sponsorship and partnership initiatives in our different venues: the Lyon Convention Centre, Eurexpo Lyon, La Sucrière and the Matmut Stadium.
Our partnerships are designed to give meaning to what we do, as part of an overall strategy aimed at showcasing and promoting the Lyon area and its diversity. We work with local and regional players who, through their commitment and expertise, contribute to raising the profile of the Lyon area with passion and excellence.
Together, we work to highlight the cultural, sporting and artistic wealth of our region, while supporting initiatives that promote inclusion and diversity. Our partners are invaluable allies in helping us implement our corporate-social-responsibility policy, and we are proud to work hand in hand with them to raise the profile of the Lyon region.
The Lumière Film Festival
The Lumière Festival is an international film festival devoted to "classic" cinema. Every October, the world of cinema comes to Lyon – the birthplace of the Lumière Cinematograph – to celebrate its enduring vitality and heritage through a contemporary journey to the works of the past (restored films, retrospectives, special guests, tributes, film-concerts, etc.). And every year, at the Amphithéâtre 3000 in the Lyon Convention Centre, the Prix Lumière is awarded to a leading figure for their lifetime achievement in cinema.

"Les Nuits Sonores" Music Festival
Arty Farty has been organising the Nuits Sonores music festival in Lyon since 2003. This five-day event takes place over the Ascension bank-holiday weekend (in May), when Lyon dances to the rhythm of electronic music. No fewer than 200 local, national and international artists – including both established and up-and-coming stars – perform live in various iconic venues across the city, including La Sucrière, the festival's historic venue.
"Les Mauvais Gones" gangster film festival
Les Mauvais Gones is a 100% Lyonnais festival, which is unique in France. The festival is devoted to showing "cult" gangster films on the big screen. Whether the spectators are discovering the films for the first time or enjoying watching them again, the event brings together film lovers of all generations to experience classic "gangster films" in the cinema. This stand-alone festival has established itself as one of Lyon's cultural highlights. Cult films, recent films or little-known films, Les Mauvais Gones is above all about sharing an experience with the audience. In 2024, La Sucrière will be partnering this 100% gangster-film festival in Lyon's Confluence district for the fifth time.
The Karavel Dance Festival
Created in 2007 in Bron, on the initiative of choreographer Mourad Merzouki, the Karavel festival takes place every autumn throughout the Lyon Metropolitan area, presenting the very best in hip-hop dance creation. Karavel is a limitless and daring space for creation, showcasing hip-hop dance in all its glory on the Lyon scene: renowned troupes rub shoulders with up-and-coming artists in a genuine creative outpouring, while shows and dance battles reinvent dance performance with an infectious energy. Every year, the "Can You Rock" battle takes place in the Amphithéâtre 3000 at the Lyon Convention Centre.

"Prête-moi tes ailes" association
Based in the Rhône département, the Prête-moi tes ailes (Lend me your wings) association aims to help families escape the isolation they can feel when a member is affected by cognitive disabilities (particularly Down Syndrome). These families express their growing need to be able to get together to talk freely and share their experiences, without fear of being judged.
"Les Halles inclusives" association
Les Halles Inclusives was created in 2021 by the Prête-moi tes ailes association, which fights against the isolation families can feel when a member is affected by cognitive disabilities (particularly Down Syndrome). The association wanted to highlight the fact that nothing is impossible, even when a person is affected by a disability.
Les Halles Inclusives association was therefore created to show the achievements of workers with disabilities and the structures that support them.
"Sport dans la Ville" association
For 26 years now, Sport dans la Ville (Sport in the City) has been the leading association for promoting social inclusion through sport in France. All the programmes set up by Sport dans la Ville help to promote the social and professional integration of the 11,850 young people registered with the association, by playing an active role in their personal development. The Lyon Convention Centre supports this initiative by sponsoring young people on work assignments to help them find their feet in the working world.
